The experience
From our first conversation to choosing your finished artwork, I’ll guide you through each step. Your pet will have time to settle, you’ll know what to expect, and we’ll work together to create portraits that capture their character.
The complete experience is £350, including a pre-session consultation, a calm studio session, a guided reveal appointment and a satin Art Panel.
First, a conversation
We’ll start by talking about your pet, their personality and anything that would help them feel comfortable during the session. We’ll also discuss what you’d love from the portraits and where you might display them at home.
I’ll explain how the photography session works, introduce the artwork options and answer your questions. There’s no payment or commitment at this stage, so you can decide whether the experience feels right for you.
If you choose to book, a £150 deposit secures your session date. The remaining £200 is payable before the session. I’ll then send you information to help you and your pet prepare.
At their own pace
Sessions take place in my dedicated home studio, with time for your pet to explore and become comfortable before we begin.
They don’t need to behave perfectly or hold a pose. I work around their temperament, taking breaks and changing pace whenever they need it.
As they settle, I look for familiar expressions, small gestures and moments of character. We’ll take the time to create a varied selection of portraits for you to choose from.
Seeing your portraits together
Once your portraits have been edited, we’ll arrange a reveal appointment to enjoy the photographs and choose your favourites together. This normally takes place in person at my home, with a video appointment available if that’s more convenient.
I’ll help you consider which portraits work best together and choose artwork sizes and finishes that suit your space.
Your £350 experience includes a satin Art Panel. You can choose this or apply its value towards an artwork upgrade, with additional pieces available separately. I’ll explain the prices clearly so you can decide what works for you.
Ready for your home
Once you’ve confirmed your choices, your artwork is professionally produced by Loxley Colour.
Where practical, it comes to me first so I can check the finish and presentation before arranging a personal handover. If direct delivery is more convenient, we can arrange that instead.
Then your favourite portrait is ready to become part of your home.
